Seeing Our Past Clearly Helps Map Our Future 

In February 1986 phase one of our facility was built and dedicated.  Attendance had risen to 175.  

In February 1995, phase two was completed which is the classroom/fellowship hall addition.  Then in September 1996, phase three began. This 14,000 square foot, multi-purpose facility houses our new sanctuary, gymnasium and six classrooms.  

We are currently averaging 300-400 in attendance.  Most importantly, we are in the middle of an awesome move of God’s Spirit in these last days.  

Journey Life Center changed its name from Springmill Church of God in April 2005, but was originally organized as the Roseland Church of God on Belmont Avenue in June 1953.  When Pastor Philippi came in 1982, the church was averaging 70 in attendance and had 90 members.
