Our Vision
Our Church
|
Our Vision is set unto two parts: Our mandate and motives and supports our Mission.
Our Vision (Mandate)
We see Journey Life Center as a worshipping family of believers, serving God and Community.
Our Values (Motives)
Passionate Worship
- We were made to worship by our Creator and will only know true joy and peace by discovering worship. It is the 1st Great Commandment - Worship at Journey Life should always be passionate and spirit filled. We believe all believers should be baptized in the Spirit. - Worship is transformational and liberating to people's lives as we confess our sins and invite Jesus into our lives. - All partners at Journey Life should develop a personal and daily prayer life.
Radical Hospitality
- To touch this world, we must love them. Love is demonstrated through Radical Hospitality. It is the 2nd Great Commandment. - Caring relationships are essential to building God's Kingdom.
Intentional Faith Development
- We are commissioned to make disciples. This is done primarily through life coaching and small groups. - We deeply value the sacred covenant of marriage and the importance of training our children to know Christ. - The church is prepared to equip the body for service to the community as the Spirit gives gifts. - Multiplication and reproduction is expected of all partners for Kingdom growth and maturity.
Extravagant Giving
- We are created for a purpose and will not know lasting joy or peace until we discover it. - We are called to bear fruit, to produce and give of ourselves. We are prepared to give guidance on this journey of discovering and service. - Biblical prosperity, generosity, and integrity are essential to Kingdom expansion.
Second Mile Service
- Every partner is a missionary to this society and our community. - We will touch this world when we live and serve it. We are empowered by the Holy Spirit to do it.
